Basic goals of the research area in economic history are to: promote the exchange of ideas among EAEPE member economic historians; present new research in economic history; and enhance the creative discourse between economists and economic historians. The exploration of ˜common grounds' in economic history and evolutionary/institutional economics is also a major interest.

Scholars and especially graduate students or recent PhD's in economic history are encouraged to send abstracts of their work/ theses to be posted on this Research Area page of the EAEPE site.
